We are thrilled to bring Mama Terra to the PILGRIM stage. If you know your UK jazz history, you know this is going to be special.

Fronted by the formidable piano and composition work of Marco Cafolla (formerly of Federation of the Disco Pimp) and the sax prowess of Konrad Wiszniewski, Mama Terra is the sound of soulful modern jazz. Signed to the legendary Acid Jazz Records, their debut The Summoned draws a direct line from the experimentation of Alice Coltrane to the funk-fusion precision of The Headhunters.

This isn’t just background jazz; it’s a full-throttle musical journey. It’s funky, it’s soulful, it’s technical, and it’s got a groove that won’t quit. For fans of Kamasi Washington, Herbie Hancock, and the vibrant new wave of British jazz, this is essential viewing.
